Interactives (Variety of subjects)- "Interactives" provides educators and students with strategies, content, and activities that can enhance and improve students' skills in a variety of curricular areas.

Virtual Manipulatives (Math)- This site is loaded with virtual manipulatives. Some are better than others. You can explore by grade level and by math topics.

Welcome to Glogster!- I recently came across this site and thought it would be cool for education. You could make a class glog or have students make one about a topic you are studying.

The Science Spot - The Science Spot is an excellent resource for middle school educators and students. Lessons, projects, worksheets, teacher resources and science trivia class starters.

Smithsonian's History Explorer (Social Studies)- Your gateway to innovative, standards-based online resources for teaching and learning American history, designed and developed by the National Museum of American History

Bibliography Creator (Language Arts)- Online bilbiography creator. Just enter in the ISBN of the book and it creates the bibliography entry for you.

Mr. Walker and I had a cyberbully feud (which he started). Here are two examples of how you can post video into a glog. These videos weren't made at school, so we actually do do work while we are here :)

How could this happen? I'm a new teacher at Bate this year.

The Clickers Students love to use the clickers (CPS). You could use them for bellwork, exit slips, reviewing for tests, giving tests, pre and post assessments, etc. We can import questions from exam view or you can make your own. The social studies and science textbooks have software that can be used with the clickers. We have two sets of clickers at Bate. There is a new version of the sofware. If you are interested let me know and I will install it on your computer and help you get started with questions. I will also stay with you during class until your feel comfortable using them.
